SBA STATE TESTING is quickly approaching! Central School will be taking the state assessment (SBA) May 8th - 31st. It is crucial that students are at school during this time to ensure that all students participate in the state assessment as schedule. In the event that a student is absent during a scheduled assessment, the students will be provided a separate testing time when they return to school. Please be looking for additional information regarding these upcoming assessments. Information will be sent home with students throughout April.
Attendance is one the most important components to a successful education for children. It is crucial that students attend school everyday, and that they are on time and stay until the end of the day. Central School is making a special effort to ensure that all students fully benefit from their education by attending school regularly. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school--and themselves. Consistent attendance will help children do well in their future school endeavors, college, and at work. If your child is going to be absent, please contact Mrs. Gwinn, the Central School Office Coordinator, at 538-8230 to excuse their absence. Any questions regarding attendance can be directed to Mrs. Gwinn or Ms. Dunn, Dean of Students, at 538-8230.
