Our staff vision is for every child to be in a place where a love for learning grows.
I would like to personally welcome you to Emerson Elementary School! Our school is designed to help children learn in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our staff works hard to ensure children have a successful, memorable, and enjoyable educational experience. We value the unique qualities of each and every child. All children deserve a safe and nurturing classroom, cafeteria, and playground. We help students learn the skills they will need to be successful for the rest of their lives.
Emerson has many ways to participate in your child's education. If you are interested in volunteering at our school, please contact your child's teacher or the office. Also, the Hoquiam PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) meets the first Tuesday evening each month at 6:30. In addition, we have many events throughout the school year that families are welcome to attend. The most important way you can be involved is to help your child learn. Take time to read as often as possible and work with your son or daughter on homework assignments. Our teachers are always willing to answer questions and meet with parents.
Emerson Elementary is a great place to learn and grow. It takes everyone working together to help children learn and grow.
